Saturday: Off to Abusina
On a hike along the Roman loop on the Jurasteig trail, you will make your way to Fort Abusina, 13.7 kilometers away (route can be shortened). While looting was still very popular at that time, we will provide you with everything you need for your physical well-being on the way in a Dorint packed lunch. Once you arrive at the Roman fort, you can take part in a one-hour guided tour that will immerse you in the history of the UNESCO World Heritage Site on the Limes with lots of exciting background information.

Sunday: Sacred baths
The Roman Museum of Spa and Bathing in St. Andrew's Church houses the remains of the oldest Roman bathing facilities in Bavaria. Not only Emperor Trajan, who had them built, but also the Roman legion stationed in Abusina at the time liked to spend time here to wash the dust of their military expeditions from their souls and recharge their batteries. On a 60-minute guided tour, you will be amazed at the impressive Roman architecture hidden behind church walls.
